Mr. O 8 Hrs away…A Brief History of the Contest!

Some of the wording and facts of this article came from Joe Roark, the IFBB Men’s Historian; Wayne DeMilia, former IFBB Chairman, and a variety of other sources.

It all started on September 18, 1965. The crowd at the Brooklyn Academy of Music waited at the edge of their seats, screaming in anticipation. They clapped their hands, stomped their feet and yelled as loud as their lungs would allow for the blond superstar from California with arms too big to believe. The man they were waiting for was the legendary Larry Scott.

Larry Scott was the bodybuilding superstar of his day, but by 1963 there were no more contests for him to conquer. Scott had already won the Mr. America, Mr. World and Mr. Universe titles; there was little left for him to prove. Scott already had a houseful of trophies and plaques. He felt it was time to move on from bodybuilding.

Joe Weider recognized the need to keep Larry Scott in bodybuilding and the necessity to force the sport to grow. He created the Mr. Olympia contest to keep all the great Mr. Universe champions active in the sport and to give them the opportunity to earn money from competing. Continue reading

Bull Shark Testosterone? WTF? Its not a game!

My nephew hit me yesterday (I’ve become the fitness Oracle, lol) and asked me about Bull Shark Testoterone! From the name alone I told him do not mess with it! From my commom knowledge, Bull Sharks are pretty aggressive animals and I thought, this is the stuff that makes Rapist out of men! Anyway after trying to research it, I found NO CREDIBLE SOURCES OF NEWS about it. It was all forum talk.

Anyhow it seems to have come to life from a Grand Theft Auto IV video game and that alone is a red flag! Anyway the best info I can find is by a self proclaimed Nerd named Christie Wilcox which you can read here. I suggest you read this before juicing!

Do you know who Ray Kurzweil is?

Last night I watched this documentary via Netflix and was blown away by this guy. I knew of his technologies but not of him. He is the Superhuman Oracle, lol!

Ray Kurzweil has been described as “the restless genius” by The Wall Street Journal, and “the ultimate thinking machine” by Forbes. Inc. magazine ranked him #8 among entrepreneurs in the United States, calling him the “rightful heir to Thomas Edison,” and PBS included Ray as one of 16 “revolutionaries who made America,” along with other inventors of the past two centuries. The “Whole” truth about Whole Foods Market!

Reported by Tara Green
Natural News

Genetically modified foods have become so ubiquitous in the US that even the grocery store ‘Whole Foods’ now admits it cannot keep biotech foods off its shelves. A representative for the corporation acknowledged in May of 2011 that the realities of the marketplace have forced a shift in the company’s previous no-GMO’s policy. Continue reading
