86th Street Chevrolet are graciously donating their staff & two of their vehicles to pick up Striders & escorting them to Prospect Park. Pick up locations are at the Grand Army Plaza subway station (2, 3 trains) and the 7th Avenue subway station (B, Q) and will drop-off Striders at the 9th Street Bandshell. Services will be available from 9:00 am to Noon and 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm for all our Striders, especially our Survivors and those that have limited walking capabilities.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a success because of people like you. THANK YOU for your support and participation; we can’t wait to see you this weekend!

Making Strides registration opens at 10:00 am and the walk begins promptly at 11:00 am at the 9th Street Bandshell in Prospect Park.

Details to be aware of:
We are expecting beautiful, warm weather this weekend but the event is RAIN OR SHINE – so check the forecast and be prepared. Especially since it is often very cold in the early morning.

We recommend that walkers leave their pets at home. Large pets may scare walkers and smaller pets may be in danger of being stepped on in a crowd as large as ours.

EACH WALKER must bring their own registration paperwork to the registration tent. The Registration tent will have blue flags on it and is the largest tent onsite.

If your company has Matching Gifts, please turn in the form from your company at Registration with the donation.

The entire walk is Stroller and Wheelchair accessible.

Areas to visit:
Please direct any Survivors on your team to the Survivor Tent for a free t-shirt and so we can celebrate them. Also, Survivors should gather at the Starting line by 10:50 so they can lead us off in the walk.

The Product Sales Tent (purple flags) will be selling T-shirts, hats, gloves, hooded sweatshirts and tote bags. Go early – products will run out!
