10,000 Hours of study needed to become a Superhuman

Want to be an expert in your field? Well, it only takes a couple of hours. 10,000 to be exact according to Dr. K. Anders Ericsson (Conradi Eminent Scholar and Professor of Psychology at Florida State University).

I came across this article on one of my favorite blogs a while back, but as my passion for the medical/biochemistry field is growing, I have decided that I am ready to put my 10,000 hrs in and track it via my stats site.

I will be educating myself via books, lectures and any kind of material I can find this summer. Hopefully by July I will have decided a course study to pursue on my return to the traditional school circuit. I do believe I can learn on my own but if I am going to be able to practice, well… I have to have some paperwork that says I’m brilliant ( ain’t that some $#!%).

If anyone is interested, I just got this study package from a reputable doctor, Donald A. Bergman, MD, FACE (Endocrinologists) via his site, www.powerofprevention.com. Also for more studies, I suggest you also check out this Genetics 101 video series about Genes on www.23andme.com.

I’ve been clocking some hours but haven’t kept track. Starting today, I will start logging my hours. If you want to get down with this program 10,000 to Superhuman, let me know. search4superhumans@gmail.com
